Continuing the discussion from Unable run Norton 360 for iOS:
I have same issue on iPad and iPhone
Redeem a subscription is only a temporary solution as once App closed the issue recurs
A work around of sorts is to open “Settings” and check VPN is on and has Norton 360 functional
Again this has to be repeated once the App is closed.
Very frustrating and disappointing
If you are referring to the iOS Settings, you should not use those for controlling the Norton VPN. You should only use the VPN settings from within the 360 app for control of that feature.
Having said that…When you go to the iOS settings, do you see the Norton 360 VPN already on? If you have only just installed 360, that should be off until you turn on the Safe Web feature in 360.
I think there must have been some activity behind the scenes as an improvement!
The Norton screen on opening the App has changed to a Welcome and Get started or redeem a subscription button.
On closing this down and reopening, the App works as expected.
Safe Web is activated and the Norton VPN is working in the background in ios and ipados settings, but off unless activated in the Norton App.
I think this is a work in progress!!
