Norton 360 for iPad

So I just bought 360 for three computers. Can I install it on an iPad? I apologize if this has been asked a million times. I am new here.

Hi, tammycleo,

Viveksu is right, although hopefully this will be changing at some point. Apple as you may know is not particularly willing to release its APIs, which makes it virtually impossible to create a security app. The corresponding GOOD news is that it also makes it virtually impossible to create malware, so there are a lot fewer threats out there to a non-jailbroken iOS device than to other mobile OS devices.

There are threats out there, though--so Norton is actively working with Apple in the hopes of being able to get access to what they would need to create a product like Norton Mobile Security (NMS) for iOS--and is anticipating (after a good bit of user input, some of which came from me!) :smileywink: offering a number of bundling options like what you are looking for.

Allow me to invite you over to join us in my main stomping ground here, the Norton Mobile forums. You can find them in the pull-down "Go To" menu, but I'll be back in a minute to post a link to the one for NMS specifically.

Welcome, in advance, to our community!

Unfortunately that is correct.

That's what I was afraid of.......  So should one conclude that Norton protection tools cannot be installed in older iPads that can only support iOS no higher than ver 9.3.6 ??

Hello. Its not possible to run the Apple Store app unless you are on iOS 11 or higher. Please see the requirements here from the Apple Store.
