Norton 360 for Windows 8 and Windows Live Mail

I have concluded and got confirmed from Symantics that Norton 360 is not supporting Windows 8 with Windows Live Mail. Will this be corrected?

I've seen no announcements but I would 'assume' that if there's a problem on the Symantec/Norton side they are hard at work getting it corrected. I would also assume that they will keep with their policy of not announcing when fixes are going to be ready - they just announce when they have been released.
