Norton 360 incorrectly detecting that home WiFi is compromised on latest version of iOS app

The latest version of the Norton 360 iOS app is persistently reporting that my home WiFi network is compromised, and turning the VPN on. My network is not compromised. I have Norton installed on my desktop, which is on the same network. There are no problems detected there.

This issue only started happening when I updated to the latest version of the iOS app, version 2.48.0.20221111.3. There were no problems previously. Looks like you introduced a bug. Please fix this. It is killing my battery life, accounting for 74% of my battery usage while home and slowing down my internet access. The constant notifications about my “compromised” network are also maddening. I’m about to uninstall.

I’m not sure why you closed the previous thread reporting this issue. There was no resolution posted.

I’ve tried uninstalling the app, and re-downloading/re-installing. I’ve also rebooted my router and tried forcing a new IP address. And of course I’ve hard rebooted the phone itself. None of this helped.

I also have a 2nd corporate issued and managed iPhone connected to the same WiFi. It has its own security software, and is not detecting any issues.
