I would first recommend contacting our Customer Support team by visiting the below site:
http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/selectproduct_ts.jsp
If you have already done this and they could not resolve your issue, please let us know. If this is the case, please provide as many details as possible. Thanks!
I am having the same problem installing Norton 360 v2. It worked well on my VAIO VGN-5SM laptop but just will not complete the configuration on another HP desktop.
I have re-installed countless times over the past week of trying. I have had three sessions with Symantec "Analysts". Each time they ended up just cutting off the dialogue without warning! In one case the person initiated the removal tool and then left me. Presumeably the computer was totally vulnerable.
I have tried N360S200.EXE and also N360S200SL.EXE. I have also gotten Liveupdate to bring the product up-to-date, but have yet to see the main menu screen.
I have stopped as many programs running as I dare and also services for "ATI Hot Key Poller" etc, but nothing has made a difference so far...
Your help to find a solution will be welcome or I must look at some other security application.
Michael
