Norton 360 installs, scans and then removes all CDROMs from my computer

I just bought a new HP desktop with Vista 64-bit and recently installed Norton360 with no issues.  However, once it finished scanning all of my discs and harddrives...I found it had erased all CD-ROM drives from the My Computer screen.  When I went into the Device Manager, it showed both CD-ROM drivers were not working properly but that the drivers were installed and up-to-date!  I'm not sure why Norton would corrupt the CD-ROM drivers...but it seems to be the case.  Does anyone have a solution to this?

Try the instructions provided in this Symantec Support Article, not sure whether this will resolve your problem or not. Let us know the results.
