My Norton 360 just installed by engineer yesterday is loosing password and its login and password box is grayed out . The VPN is excellent but every time one of the computers gets rebooted it looses the settings and will not remain working on boot needing it to be opened up and run.Can you help?
The VPN not starting on system start has been reported since the new 360 products were introduced. Norton has said they are looking into giving more control over the startup of the VPN, but no news on this yet.
I also believe this disables all of the add tracking blocking ad trackers
Yes. As the ad tracker blocking is a function of the VPN feature, and if the VPN is not active, the ad tracking blocking also is not active.
In a busy office with 50 or more computers this is ridiculous to expect every work station to be visited to enable VPN and add tracker blocking. I cant believe Norton has not thought this through !
The Norton product line of products is aimed at home users. If you need more control, maybe you should be looking more at a product aimed at businesses/enterprises.
I also believe this disables all of the add tracking blocking ad trackers on your computer every morning when it does not start up with the rest of Norton 360.

Hi Yes I am using admin account I have spoken to Norton support through their chat and Suport-LogMeInRecue.exe. The agent was able to find updates which my system did not detect which has corrected password box refusing to take text the agent found the same problem when they took control of machine . I was also informed that this VPN was a feature and not part of security sweet and as such needs to be turned on every morning unlike the firewall this is quite silly in a great feature . I wonder how many other VPN suppliers do not allow there product to start up with the system every morning?
All: Since this is not a Core related issue. I have asked for this thread to be moved to the appropriate Norton 360 board where it will get the appropriate responses.
Cheers
Are you using a Windows admin account to sign into your Norton VPN feature?
