Norton 360 & Malwarebytes

Good afternoon fellow Norton users!  My name is Quikfix, and I've just registered.  I've been wanting to know for a long time, is Norton 360 v6 compatible with Malwarebytes PRO.  I'm pretty sure that you kinda have to tweak Norton and Malwarebytes to make them both compatible, but I just need confirmation.  Thanks in advance everyone and have a great day!

I and many of us do use the Free version of Malwarebytes as a second check if we think something may be wrong but general concensus is against using the PRO version (although if you have already bought it you can turn it into the Free version with the option to disable the active checking I believe).

 

HOWEVER there are one or two posts here from people who swear the do use the PRO version with no problems ......

 

Personally I prefer to keep it simple and just use Norton as my active defence ..... in addition to the most important ....:

Thank you James, and I will bear that in mind.  The reason I was asking is that I went to the Malwarebytes forum and they have this "Exclusions List".  Basically, they tell you that Malwarebytes is designed to work with an existing anti-virus solution but just in case of future conflicts, to add exclusions to both the suite and Malwarebytes.  I just wanted to see what the Norton Community thinks about this.  Thank you very much for taking my question into consideration, and please let me know what the results are with both products using their real-time protection.  Here is the link with the exclusions list for all the the different security products:  http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=10138 ; I believe #J is the Norton 360 v4.  They don't have instructions for v6 (current), but they say just follow the v4 instructions as they haven't changed.  Again, thank you very much and have a great day!

Thank you huwyngr, I appreciate your advice.  Yes, I'll most likely keep the real-time protection off from Malwarebytes.  Thanks again :)
