I just purchased Norton 360 Multi-Device today. I am having difficulty getting the software to download to my Galaxy S II. I had some trouble figuring out how to install it at first. Once I figured it out the phone led me to the NMS app in the GooglePlay store. I downloaded the app and registered the device to my account. However, when I go my my account management page the 'available installs' number does not decrease to 3 like I had expected. Instead, a Norton Mobile Security - with status 'Expired' - showed up in a row above my recently purchased product. Picture:
When I looked at the app I had just installed I saw that three of the options were blacked out as "not available" and the app is telling me that my product is expired and I am currently using "NMS Lite"
When I click on one of the unavailable apps it gives me the options "Renew" and "I already have purchased this product." I clicked on the second option. This takes me to the norton site where I log in and have to input the Product Key. I input the product key to the Multi-Device I just bought and then the webpage takes me to the NMS GooglePlay page in Firefox. I'm left with no other option than to click "install" on that which prompts me to log into to my GooglePlay account. I'm too frustrated by this point to continue to log into accounts so I gave up.
Why am I missing the Backup, Call Blocking, and Web Protection icons in my NMS app? Why can I not get this app to sync/download/install with the full version that I have already purchased? I shouldn't have to pay another $30 for the full version of the mobile app if it was included in the Multi-Device package I just purchased.
