I have same problem as several others.
“Norton Life lock not working properly “Fix Now” won’t go away even after update”
What is the solution?
I guess I'll have to uninstall then reinstall as I am still having issues. Is there an Uninstall/Reinstall program for Mac like there is for Windows or just a separate process for each?
A virus definitions update about 15 min ago seemed to have fixed the problem. Thanks to all of you for your efforts.
I tried uninstalling and re-installing and its working again but im not sure what went wrong tbh.
I keep getting this warning also. Does anyone know if our computers are still being protected using the latest virus definitions? If not, have we paid for protection that we are not getting?

Thank you for reporting this on the Norton Community forums. Could you please follow the below steps?
- Please check whether Virus defs are downloaded under "/Library/Application Support/Symantec/Silo/MES/Definitions/virusdefs"
- Quit and relaunch the app, and then run LiveUpdate. Once LU is done, run Quick Scan.
- Also, please check whether the System date and time is right in your machine.
