When I look at history on Norton 360 after running a scheduled full system scan once a week I am now getting some strange dates on actions done. At the bottom of the screen of listings attached you will see a couple of actions taken after the full scan completed at 12:23 AM or so on July 20, 2024. The most recent items are at the top of the screen. They show up as some firewall actions but the dates given for those actions are listed as 10:45AM Oct. 6th, 2024. Obviously there is something wrong with the way Norton is handling dates since the Oct 6th date is 3 months into the future and hasn't occurred yet. I noticed this once before on July 13th, 2024 with a different date.
I have been using Norton for several decades and this wasn't an issue. Is this another Microsoft or Norton update "feature" ? What is the fix?

@dresdenron I believe you'd be better served working with our Admin Gayathri for your solution.

I checked and I have Norton 360 Premium version 22.24.5.6 and Windows 10 Home 22H2 build 19045.4651. So basically I have the same versions as you. (it would have been handy if you could take a screenshot of those screens, but that would make too much sense)
Thanks for your reply
Hello dresdenron, Could you tell us what your version and build on Windows 10 are, as well the Norton product you have installed along with its version?
Checking my installation all my dates in history are accurate. My version of Norton Security is 22.24.5.6 . Windows 10 Pro is 22H2 build 19045.4651 for reference. I do see an update for Windows 10 awaiting installation as it is an "optional" update, 2024-07 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5040525).

I’ve seen the same weird date thing with Norton 360.Not sure if it’s a bug from a recent update or something else, but it’s definitely annoying. One thing you might try is making sure both Norton and Windows are fully updated. Sometimes that fixes these glitches. If that doesn’t work, reinstalling Norton might help. It’s worth reaching out to Norton support, too—they might have a fix or a workaround for this.Although I personally would not be confused by the fact that the dates do not match. Why is this a problem for you? Sometimes problems happen due to user inattention. Hope that helps! Let me know if you figure it out.
