Since I downloaded Norton 360 I have had nothing but trouble with maintaining WiFi connections. Even though that seems to be slightly better i can no longer send photos or videos or receive them on WhatsApp and WhatsApp takes a couple of minutes spinning trying to connect every time I go on it. If I use mobile data I do not have this problem at all. This only occurred when I got Norton. My husband and my daughter iPhones were fine until I told them to put Norton on their phones too. Which was days after mine so definitely Norton. My husband has uninstalled the Norton app and it has not resolved the issue.
If you have uninstalled Norton and still see the issue, it is definitely not a Norton issue.
If you are seeing this while at home, try power cycling your modem and router. Unplug them for a minute and then plug them back in. When they have fully restarted try your connections again.
Have you contacted the Whatsapp Support?
Thanks for this, I have disabled the web protection, I have taken off VPN and I have even uninstalled the Norton 360 to see if makes a difference but whatever has happened just doesn’t seem to be getting sorted. It’s very frustrating. It’s as if the Norton has changed something in our phones.
What iOS version are you using on the affected devices?
Are you using the VPN function in your 360 when you have these connection issues? Many web sites do not allow access from known VPN IP addresses. They do this for copyright, legal, and political reasons. There is nothing a VPN provider can or should do to circumvent these legal protections.
As a diagnostic step, try disabling the Web Protection feature of 360 and see if you still see these connection issues.
I will look into that. However we are having problems with internet connection dropping and also certain webpages stating could not find a secure connection. All this only happened since Norton. Literally within an hour of putting it on our phones we started having difficulty.

If Norton has been uninstalled and he is still seeing the issue, it would seem to indicate it is not a Norton issue. Search for Issues with Whatsapp and you will find a number of recent connection issues with that system, including this morning. If that is the only app you are having issues with, I would suggest contacting Whatsapp support for help.
