Norton 360 on windows 8 & XP

I have Norton 360 for 3 PC's,

I have used two of the downloads on windows XP and would like the last download to be for my new Laptop Windows 8,

 

  1.  Will the version I have  ( Version: 4.4.0.12)  be compatable for Windows 8 
  2.  Is it possible to get all my saved passwords and logins from my Norton 360 on my XP too Windows 8
  3.  Is it possible to just copy the logins and passwords to the new install of Norton 360 on windows 8.

I am not very PC Literate so its going to take me time to swap all my stuff from my laptop XP to my new laptop Windows 8,

Thats why i need to use the 3rd available download but keep ALL the Logins and Passwords for BOTH Laptops at the same time..

Once before I got assistance and the guy didn't save my Passwords etc even when I asked him too and it took me about 2 months to gradually get every thing back, what a performance that was.

I know they can save Logins etc because the 2nd year I had norton the assistant help me re-Install / download the product and they did (save / transfer) every thing for me.

I haven't updated to the new version for fear of losing every thing again.

I would be very grateful for some advice as I cant use play with my new laptop until i get this sorted out :womansad:.

Hi alsorted,

Actually I would recommend you wait until such time as you have the laptop up and running 100% with N 360 installed and your logins and passwords are useable before marking the thread as solved.  That way if you come back with more questions and/or encounter a problem, you'll be able to post in this thread and folks will not ignore your new qustions because the thread is marked as solved.

Dimension quoted how to backup/export your Identity Safe data if you are using an online vault.

 

As you are still on V4 of 360 you probably will not have an online vault. To back up your Identity Safe data, you will need to go to Settings - Identity Safe, and click on Configure beside Export data. I am quoting from memory, as I no longer use N360, and you are using a version that is 3 years old. When you get to the export window, use the csv format for compatibility with the new version of 360.
