I have upgraded to Norton 360 v6 and now my online backup shows as being full. I have followed instructions online and got chat help. The chat rescue me then removed Norton 360 and reinstallated in usign the NRnR tool, but the Norton 360 problem still exists.
After 2 hours of Chat support no progress and Norton 360 backup still does not work.
And to make things worse, whilst uninstalling Norton 360 the agent also removed Norton Ghost my "main" back up program. I now have no means of backing up at all, so I feel cannot use my PC to upgrade any permanent data. I am concerend about reinstalling Norton Ghost as I do not want to lose access my previous Ghost backups or to my Ghost previous settings. I have now spent another hour and 15 minutes waiting for chat help with no success... I just want to know if I can reinstall Norton Gost to carry on using this as a method of backing up without making things worse. Please advise .....HELP
Sorry to hear of your troubles.
You are dealing with 2 questions here that need different user groups to help.
We can try to help you here for the N360 question, but you should post separately in the Other Norton Products board of this forum for your Ghost questions.

OK thanks for the comment - I will post another request for the Norton Ghost issue - so can anybody help with the lack of functionality of my Online Backup with Norton 360?
OK this has been resolved after another 2 hours on chat.
Uninstalled and reinstalled Norton 360 - with no results - still showing 0KB available as online storage.
Tech then went and investigated and found that there was a problem on the Symantec server. The resolution was to give me a new activation key and reactivate - it would seem that my key had become corrupted somehow. So if you have this issue you may need to get chat help and get your activation key sorted out - be prepared to spend 2 hours or on chat. (It took about 20 minutes to download the new version of Norton 360)
Glad to hear you found the solution.
We obviously could not have helped with thi one, although as long as we remember this post, we can still help others with this issue.
