Norton 360 Patch Corrupted the Hard Drive

Hi Norton Community,

I updated my Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 about 3 days ago. Last night, my Norton 360's LiveUpdate downloaded a patch that required a restart to apply due to drivers it could not shut down. I left the notification alone for a little while and it disappeared, but wouldn't let me shut down my computer before I restarted it. I restarted it and now it can't even boot to the desktop. After checking and doing assorted repairs, I came across an issue with the C: drive. Windows diagnostics was saying that the drive was corrupted. It attempted to fix the issue, but sadly it didn't manage to do it. I managed to start in safe mode and uninstall Norton 360 (that seemed to be the source of the trouble) but even that didn't work, still unable to boot. I'm trying to reset my computer to factory, but now it's stuck on the Windows installation process and hasn't budged for 2+ hours. I know this seems like a Windows forums question but this all began with the LIveUpdate so is there a way to revert to before the patch? I have tried Windows Refresh, Restore Points, and Resetting but none seems to work.
