Thanks,
I kept right clicking on the 'Norton Toolbar' and got nothing. I will try enabling it again now that I downloaded the latest patch.
Wish me luck.

Hey.
I get nothing when right-clicking the Norton Toolbar either, try right clicking to the right of the "Help" menu in Firefox, just above the address bar.
Hi All,
After I downloaded the latest '360' update I discovered "Phishing Protection" so I said "Yeah why not". Well most of my websites are internal and FireFox slowed to a crawl. I looked around the 360 'Main Window' and unchecked the phishing stuff. OK, now it isn't causing browsing problems but the Tray Icon is always red and I have an extra toolbar that takes up space and is doing nothing. With the Tray Icon always red I have to keep looking at the main window to check for problems.
I really don't want to use the Phishing Protection and I really don't want to even see it. This may be good for a home computer but for business it is a PITA.
Thanks,
MegabitFL
Hi,
Try leaving the phishing protection enabled in the Norton GUI so you still get a green tick, but then in Firefox or IE, disable the "Norton Toolbar".
In Firefox 3, you can just right-click above the address bar, and uncheck "Norton Toolbar".
This makes the toolbar disappear, but the protection may still be there (so it may still be slow for you).
If this is the case... then try disabling it via the add-ons/extensions window.
