Norton 360 Premier crashes Chrome after patch was applied

I had no problem accessing the Chrome browser until this afternoon when I did a live update on Norton 360 Premier. It installed 3 items - the usual definitions & stuff - and then popped up a message saying the patch could not take effect until I restarted my computer. It didn't indicate which update got the patch - and these usual items have never needed a restart before. I figured it was important, so I clicked the "Restart" button.

Now Chrome Crashes without completely opening.I went into my Norton settings and sequentially deactivated (and reactivated) Safe Surfing, Smart Firewall and Norton Tamper Protection, figuring these would most likely stop Chrome from opening.

What, if anything, can I do to get Chrome to open?

How do we contact Norton/Symantec to let them know there's a serious problem with their patch?
