Hi turbofylla,
Please contact Symantec Customer Service at the link below; you can chat with them for free at this link (for US and Canada), and maybe they can sort out your issue:

Please tell us how it goes - thanks :-)
How many times did you have bought Norton 360 Premier?
As I saw by me that if you get a new subscription (renew, or fully new) that's storage space adds to your previous one, so if you had activated two Standard 360 subscription, than that's 2*2GB=4GB online storage. I think the same happens by premium as well, so if you had 3 or 4 licence at all, it is possible that you have 140GB online storage with the extra 50GB NOBU storage.
Thanks for your answers! I do belive it is the same thing that has happend to me. I dont know how many times I have renewed and upgraded my online storage. But as I understand from your post, I am not the only one that this has happend to.
So I think norton should fix this so in the future this will not be a problem.
Cheers
The value you see displayed in NOBU and the N360 client is in fact the correct value (meaning your backup products will allow you to back up that much data). Up to this point, backup storage has been cumulative so as you buy additional products you continue to gain more storage. If you feel you have less storage than you should, you should certainly contact our support team to have the problem corrected.
I know that I have 2 valid licenses that are releated to backup. 1 norton 360 and 1 norton online backup. That is a total amount of 50GB.
I have recieved warnings that the extra amount I purchased has expired and that the filed would be deleted. But still norton shows up 139GB as the amount I have. And that is not correct. So I dont buy your solution as it is not correct!
Hi turbofylla,
In that case, please contact Symantec Customer Support, as has been suggested before:
http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/contact/contact.jsp?pvid=cs
If a NOBU product expires and you buy a new product instead of clicking upgrade then you will see messaging that says it has expired and will be deleted. I actually have that problem myself as I signed up for a NOBU trial and then bought a subscription separately instead of upgrading. Part of my work here is actually deleting expired OLBU accounts so I can say with a high level of confidence that your data isn't going to be deleted while you have an active account, and your max quota is as NOBU/N360 displays - the sum of your previous accounts in addition to your active subscriptions.
So if I understands you correctly, all of my previous purchases with all of my extra storage is still storage that I will be able to use, as long as I have 1 active license?
I will have 139GB for use until the day all of my norton backup products are no longer valid? If so, then I have paid a one time fee and will have 139GB as long as I keep renewing my norton 360 premer.
I can live with that. The reason why I have been arguing here was that I contacted the online support, and they told me that I only had 50GB actuall storage. But 360 would show 139 GB becasue this had been reserved at my purchase. And they could not downgrade this.
Anyway. I do belive you and thank you so much for your reply!
Fair warning, at some point in the future that may not be the case. But yes, that is presently how it works. If you would like some specific confirmation, send me a PM or email with your N360 or NOBU PSN/key and I will confirm. Support can scale you back if you had asked them to do that, but the database that enforces quota is the same one which displays that info on the NOBU main page so that is the accurate number.

I downloaded it and on my email receipt it shows:
Norton 360™ Premier Edition
1 year protection for up to 3 PCs
So it is definitely the Premier version.
Hi MaddieUK
Try live chat on the keyboard it’s free, with a Norton representative on the link below. Vary the times of day you try, as it’s difficult to know when they are busy.

What is showing as the storage available?
Try clicking on Support - Subscription Status from the main 360 page.
I have sorted out the problem now.
I had to go into 'view backup sets' and activate it from there, so I now have the correct amount of backup space available.
Many thanks for your help
MaddieUK, thanks for coming back and letting us know you not only got it sorted out , but also how. That will assits others who may run into the same situation.
BTW, you can go ahead and mark your last post as the Soluton so others will see it more easily.
