Detailed description: One day all my saved login ID’s from various websites disappeared in the main profile that I use in Chrome. When I would log back in, those ID’s would not get re-saved if I selected “Remember Me” etc. Google would ask me to sign in every time I started the browser. My other profiles in Chrome worked fine. I determined that it was the Chrome default profile that was having a problem.After trying various things, including uninstalling and re-installing Chrome, all to no avail, I un-installed Norton 360. When I then re-installed Chrome, everything in the default profile worked fine. It saved my log in ID’s, Google no longer asked me to sign in, and the cookies file inthe default profile wouild get updated.
So then I re-installed Norton 360, and so far Chrome is working fine.
