Norton 360 prevents wifi and unsecured wireless connection

I have a 2 month old HP with windows 7. I used the Norton Internet Security trial subscription and I was able to see secured and unsecured wireless connections. I just installed 360 and now my computer will no longer connect to an unsecured line. In the available connections list, now, I only sometimes see an unsecured line and it will no longer allow me to connect. I also have dialup on the computer which worked fine in being able to switch back and forth between. I got so frustrated I uninstalled 360 and now have no protection. I know its probably some settings but couldnt figure out why Internet Security worked fine and the same company's other product 360 screwed up the settings. Any help appreciated

Hi Dallas,

After installing you Norton 360, you can try configuring the Network Map in Norton 360 to allow communication for the wifi/wireless connection. The following Symantec Article will provide you more information:

Thank you for the reply.  All of the instructions start with "my network". Is just seeing a list of wireless names, considered "in" my network, to be able to execute these instructions and change the trust level?

Obviously installing 360 changed settings on my computer because even after un-installing it-my wireless button shows the list of computers but I can now no longer connect with any unsecured or wifi devices
