Norton 360 problems (Identity Safe) persist after uninstall-install.

Norton 360 was working perfectly fine while Windows 7 was installed. I upgraded to Windows 10 on this HP DV6, four and a half year old computer with Intel i3, 4GB RAM. First, 360 disappeared. I re-installed it. The Identity Safe stopped working. I switched back to Windows 7, but the Norton 360 now was a newer version - after the old one was uninstalled. I read a few posts on this forum and realised that the problem existed for a few others as well. Uninstalling 360 left Identity Safe intact on the Desktop, working perfectly fine, even with the Google Chrome plugin. After reinstalling the 360 though, the problem persists after some time. Identity seems to work for some time, but then it's back to square one. 

This time around, I have uninstalled the 360, the Identity Safe as well as Norton Family, to reinstall 360. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I hope things work fine this time. However, is there anything still missing? Should I look for something else? I am writing this post impatiently, i.e. about ten minutes after 360 is re-installed.
