Norton 360 renewal complaint

I have auto-renewal turned on i received an e-mail saying that the renewal happened and my CC was charged here is my isuue.

I logged onto the Norton website and thats where i seen a 40% discount off the $89.00 price which i am being charged to my CC via auto-renewal what gives ???? how is having the auto-renewal turned on a convenance when i can just keep tabs on how many days i have left on a current subscription  and renew manualy and save 40%

To say im angry is an understatment :smileymad:

I am not saying this will help, but I would suggest you contact Live chat, explain the situation to them and see if there is anything they can do.

Live chat- www.norton.com/chat

Another option may be seeking a refund and then repurchasing at the lower price?

Im chalking this up as a lesson learned and dissabled the auto-renew option and will renew manually next time

Thanks for your help

You are most welcome and glad you got it sorted.

Before renewing on line with Norton do check out the prices from reputable retail outlets since often it is cheaper to buy a new copy and just use the key to activate your existing installation but don't apply the new key until a couple of days before expiry since it is treated as a new installation, even if you don't reinstall, and wipes out any unexpired time (although we hear good reports of CHAT adding them back in it is a concession).

Just remember that if you do this you must buy the exact same version of your Norton product (the year does not matter) so for N360 you need to match to Standard / Premier / Gold ..... since keys are not interchangeable.
