I am getting conflicting messages from Norton 360. A few weeks back a popup appeared from Norton – Action Required, Threats Detected. The file list all had Windows compressed files except for the first entry being PUA.Astromenda has been detected with Low Risk. The files below merely said Risks have been detected and marked as high risks.:

I don’t recall now why, but when it happened there was some reason I thought this was likely bogus. I ran a full system scan. The results came back telling me everything was all right. I’ve done it several times since and no problems were found. Yet the threats box keeps coming back. I close it and after a while it comes back. It showed this morning and I ran an individual scan on each of the files listed and each time Norton said the file was safe even though the Norton Threats box was reporting the opposite. So I think I may be right that the initial find was bogus (there had been a power hit or something when it began). But what to do and how to know which of the opposite results to believe?
For each item a dropdown box is set to “Delete*” but also gives me the options to exclude or ignore. I’ve closed the window several times over the past few weeks without doing anything. I don’t want to Delete these files because I think the window may not be correct (different results, how would I know) and I may need the files in the future. But since a current system scan or individual file scan finds them OK I don’t want them to be excluded from future scans. If I click “Ignore” will it simply ignore them for now and scan them next time?
Given Norton is giving me conflicting results I’m not sure what to do. But except for this window which reappears or never went away, several Norton scans have found everything to be fine. Where do I go from here?
