I have 2/5 licenses available for my Norton 360. I have it successfully downloaded and activated on two Windows laptops and an Android phone. But I am unable to activate it on my iPhone (which is less than a year old). Official support has been useless.
If I try to download straight from the Norton/LifeLock site, it only gives me the ability to download LifeLock Identity or Norton Password Protection (NOT 360). If I download the 360 app and try to sign in, it says I don't have any available licenses.
My VPN is turned off. I'm in the correct region. I have uninstalled/reinstalled, cleared the cache, and ensured everything is up to date. What is going on here?
@Vanderbeam Have you been able to install 360 on your iOS device. If so, what resolved your issue?
Have you tried logging into your Norton Account and finding your current subscription. Then click on the Download link by that subscription. If you do this from your phone, then choose to install on this device. Or if you are accessing your Account from a PC, choose to install on another device, then send the invitation email to an email you can access from the phone. That is supposed to download and install a pre activated copy of your 360 app.
EDIT
Your original post mentions you are in the correct region. What geographic location are you in?
I've chatted with at least 5 different support agents regarding this issue and have been waiting a week for an "expedited call" I was supposed to receive with 48 hours. My patience is wearing thin. This is why I've reached out to the community, hoping someone may have experienced something similar and could offer a solution.
OK. You did not mention that Support had confirmed the available activations.
I just uninstalled my 360 iOS and reinstalled and did not have any issue with my subscription. I did this to see if there might be some issue with the subscription servers.
I cannot think of anything that would give that message when you do have activations left. I would suggest contacting Support again. A different agent may see something the first one missed.
Please update this thread if you find something.
I repeat: I am POSITIVE I have two licenses available. Not having a license is not the issue.
Not only have I confirmed this several times within my own account, support has confirmed this also.
Where did you check the available activations? If not the way I suggested above, can you check the activations again using the exact method I suggested above. If looking on the Devices page in your Norton Account, that can have incorrect information.
It's an iPhone 12. I don't have it in front of me so I can't check the iOS version, but I know it's up to date.
I have checked available activations on my Norton account. I am positive I have 2 available licenses.
What iPhone model and iOS version do you have?
Where are you checking available activations? You need to open your Norton Account and click on the user icon at the top right and click on Manage My Subscriptions. Find your current subscription and click on Manage Licenses. Check the list to see if you have any devices listed that you no longer have. If so, click on the trash can beside that device to free up the activation.
