Hi deltatango

One day before your subscription runs out click on renew my subscription on the user interface or log into your Norton account and click renew, enter the key and your subscription will continue for another twelve months.  Check on the user interface that the remaining days show that your new subscription has been accepted.

dt,

Just make sure that the version of Norton 360 that you buy exactly matches the version you have installed since the keys are not interchangeable.

Obviously N360 / Norton Internet Security / Norton AntiVirus are different but with N360 you need to select Standard or Premier and especially in the UK you need to avoid the special GOLD edition and be careful that you are not buying from a dealer who preactivates the copy at checkout or has some special arrangement with Norton that ties the activation to products from that same dealer.

Your best bet is usually someone like Amazon supplying on line from their own warehouses and not just handling the order for delivery by someone else but if you are satisfied with the source you mention fine.

You don't need to reinstall but just use the Key that should come with the copy you buy. What version of N360 do you have installed at the moment? Check Suppot / About where it's in the format nn.nn.nn.nnn where n is a number from 0 to 9.

Are you using the Identity Safe for logins? If so and you are using the 2013/V20 version of Norton 360 and if you upgraded to that from 2012 or earlier, have you retained the local vault on your computer drive or are you only using the "in the cloud" storage? This is important if you do not yet have 2013/20 and should upgrade to the current version.

In any case if you are using the Identity Safe make sure you export a copy of your data file to a safe place of your main hard drive just in case .... If you don't it will!

I just checked Norton UK and you can download the Standard version of N360 from them for £36 compared with £56 to renew! CRAZY!

Thanks for the replies

I have Norton 360 Ver 20.4.0.40

The ebay seller item is http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180976181540?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Thanks

Hi deltatango,

Based on the seller's writeup - stating 2 GB of storage - that is the Standard Edition.

You have not said if you are running the Standard or the Premiere edition - either one could have the same version number as  you mentioned.  The standard edition has 2 GB of online storage while the Premiere Edition has 25 GB of storage ad the keys are not interchangeable.

I cannot find anywhere the word  standard edition or  Premiere Edition ?

Hi deltatango

If you still have the box or disc it should say on there, or log onto Norton management on the link below and check there under product details.

Went into my account and the only way to tell is the Premier is £70 and the other that has no name is £65 to renew so I must have the so called Standard, so I assume the ebay one I have picked is OK

As I said before the Standard comes with 2 GB of Online storgae, while the Premiere comes with 25 GB of storage - do you know how much you have?

If it is the standard edition, then the one you have locatedon ebay will work.
