Norton 360 subscription ran over my internet security subscription

Hi.

I recently bought Internet security and norton 360, both of which are meant for 3 pc's.

the computers had them installed and i activated the internet security. after a few hours, i bought the subscription for norton 360 and installed them, which uninstalled the internet security installed before (made the same mistake for two pc's). And when i sent to my list of products, it said i only had 1 of 3 internet security subscriptions available. I'm supposed to have 2 internet security available at the moment, but the norton 360 subscription ran over them.

Hi Yoonzita,

Welcome to Norton Community!

Norton 360 already contains Norton Internet Security as a part of it along with additional features of backup & pc tuneup. You should have stayed with either one of Norton 360 or Norton Internet Security. If you want to use Norton 360, you can continue using it and try to get refund for Norton Internet Security you have purchased. If you want to keep Norton Internet Security, you can return Norton 360.Can you let us know how many computers do you have in total?

You can also contact Norton Customer Service through LiveChat, which can get you immediate resolution:

Thanks,

Hi, thank you for replying so quickly!

Here we have around 10 computers, some of which already have a free antivirus program installed. We bought two new computers which came with Norton Internet Security, and I had activated them, then set up Norton 360 on top uninstalling the NIS. The norton 360 has been installed successfully in 3 computers, including these two. NIS is installed in my computer and would like to have other two computers installed with it.

Hi,

You can relocate your paid subscriptions to a different computer provided that has been uninstalled from the first one. The total number of computers which are able to run the program will depend on the subscription you have purchased.

If you get an error message about exceeding your installs you can contact customer support here: http://us.norton.com/support/contact/contact.jsp?pvid=cs and they will work with you to get things sorted out.

Keep us in the loop

Thanks,

I got in touch with the support via live chat, and got the installations back.

Cheers!
