I have Norton 360 installed and it still has 7 months to go before it expires. However, it now says 'no connection' on the desktop icon, and clicking on any icons anywhere on my computer leads to no response.
Having looked at the forums and help sections of the website, I tried installing the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool, but it came up with the error message: 'Failed to detect any Norton product that could be automatically upgraded.' What does this mean and where do I go from here?

It is possible that there was a short interruption in your Internet connection which would explain the error messages you received. Have you rebooted the computer and do you still see the same errors?
