What does it mean when the tray icon changes from the typical round icon with a check mark, to what I will call "feathers"?
Looks like feathers on top, still with a green check mark.
When this happens, a media center externder is connected to the pc. In trying to figure out what it means, I did see that there are some entries in the secuity log stating that something is trying to change a norton file (tamper protection). I guess I should post exactly what I am seeing but I am going by memory.
The entry in the security log has an orange (not red) dot explaining the event and that it has been logged and blocked.
Fresh win7 install.. I don't think any media center programs are trying to tamper with norton..
thanks... yep.. that is it..
now I just need to know how to get an xbox360 to run as a media center extender without turning off the firewall all together. I posted in another thread if you think you can help..
Thanks again..
