Norton 360 - Unable to download film from Sky Go & BBC iPlayer

Downloaded the new Norton 360 last week ( did have the older version) since the down load have been unable to download any film from Sky Go or BBC iPlayer, all worked normal before, what should I down remove Norton 360 and revert to the old system or is there a fix, could not find them blocked in the Fire Wall either.

Hi Harry,

 

Thanks for getting back so quickly, unchecked the Firewall Control, went back in and its the same, unable to watch or download any films on my laptop, this all started when ask to upgrade to Norton 360 6.0.

Its the same with BBC iPlayer.

Can watch live, but get the buffering all the time, internet catching up with the film etc.

Have tried Project Free Films, can down load the ap but Norton will not allow me to view again.

 

Any suggestions are welcome.

Ref your note by unticking the smart firewall this takes the Norton Firewall out of the possible caused, as SKY & BBC iPlays still did not work, so its not Norton as the issue?

You can turn off Auto-Protect for temporary purpose and then check it once. To confirm if Norton is causing the problem or not, you can probably uninstall Norton 360 and check the Sky Go & BBC iPlayer again. You don't have to worry, you can reinstall Norton 360 using the same installation files you have in your computer after this.
