Hi,I updated Norton 360 to version 22.23.4.5. When I run Live Update, Norton finds more updates. I click Apply Now, but the update does not install. I run Live Update again and I see Apply Now. I rebooted the computer several times, but this did not solve the problem. How to solve a problem? Windows 10 22H2(Build 19045.2913) ,Norton 360 22.23.4.5
Norton have released 22.23.4.6 which should solve Software updater issue.

If there is a problem with shutting off the software updater and the application itself, why isn't there a notification that the problem is resolved on the back end? I am sure that a resolution can be sent as in times before when there are issues. Why would you want to install a product that is taking over your system in a way that you do not want it to? Is this a widespread issue or just those that are posting here. Just my two cents.
Yes. Reinstalling Norton 360 solved the problem
Did they fix this and did the problems resolve? There should not be a reinstall necessary.
I reinstalled Norton 360 and it fixed the problem

I read this post. Rebooting the computer does not help. When I run Live Update after rebooting, I see the Apply Now button
You say you are rebooting. Be sure you are using the Restart command. Not Shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.
I always get the apply now button when a product update is applied. The update applies, Windows Explorer will restart and services will restart. That is the norm from my side. I also ran LU immediately after the update to 22.23.4.5. No additional updates were found. The update applied without a restart. Empty your Windows temp folder and restart. There is a javascript file that gets left behind, removal may correct the issue.

seems the fix is 2 restarts ( in my case) not sure if that is same with everyonebut do the apply now and restart
This patch is ONLY available via LiveUpdate, and is being released in a phased manner. You may need to run LiveUpdate and reboot a few times before your product is completely updated to the latest version.
some recent updates i have noticed this also
i did the apply now didnt seemt o do anything, ran live update again seemed fine no mention of apply the patch

I have the same settings. Did you run Live Update again after the update and don’t see the Apply Now button?
Hello. Disable fast startup and restart. Here is how:

Edited: I just ran LU and got the latest update to 22.23.4.5 without any issues. My settings in Norton allow update to be applied without a restart as well.
