Norton 360 Upgrade offer

Hi Norton

I use Norton 360 Premium 1

I'm being offered an upgrade, but am suspicious that this may be an attempt to get me to subscribe to a more premium product.

Is this simply un update of my existing product which I should accept and install, or a veiled sales effort?

If the former, it would help if this was made clear on the pop-up

Thanks

You have two popups in your image. The background one looks like a marketing ad. The foreground one is a notice that your installed Norton Utilities Ultimate, NUU, has a pending updates. As you have NUU already it is not an upsell.

Your screenshots:

( IF, you have it installed already )These appear to be alerts there are updates to your Norton Utilities product . My understanding is that you DO NOT have NU installed. If the latter is the case, these would be in my view marketing sell-up notifications. I also have Norton 360 Deluxe running on Windows 11, I have NOT seen anything appear such as you are posting about to date. I also don't have Norton Utilities installed, so should this appear my side I would consider them sell-ups. And dismiss them.

Here is a ZIP of what came up on my screen

Hello Nick. What is being offered? Please post a screenshot so we may see what you are seeing. Here is how: https://community.norton.com/en/forums/how-post-image-forums-0

There are many different notifications Norton uses to drum up additional business. Offering an additional 3 months to your current subscription is one. We can take a look at what you are seeing and help.

The only upgrade you can receive from N360 premium 1 is to N360 Platinum. The only difference is that Premium is for 10 devices and Platinum for 20. If you want to protect more than 10 devices do it, if you have 10 or less devices it is not necessary.
