Norton 360... upgrade version from 6.4.0.9 TO 20.1.1.2....... WHY?

What's with the version number going from the then-current 6.4.0.9 to a 20.1.1.2???

This is just needlessly confusing.

I have a feeling I must have missed some interim upgrades since doing THIS particular upgrade took a rather large and inconvenient number of reboots, especially where I manage multiple computers. But if I did miss that many interim upgrades, my next question is WHY? Can't the software either install them automatically or at least pop up a reminder? You sure pop up plenty of reminders when I'm down under 30 days to go on my sub!

This kind of stuff just confuses users. I'm tech-savvy so no worries here but my employees... they couldn't handle this. Which means I'm drafted to do all the upgrades for them.

Also two of our systems generated the dread error codes 8504,104 when installing the upgrades, forcing me to uninstall and reinstall Norton 360. Wow, we still need to download the Norton Removel Tool to do that? I thought that went away a long time ago...

Overall, the new interface certainly looks nice and robotic and "cutting-edgy"... I can see the vast shadow being cast by Windows 8 already. ;)
