I am e-mailing on behalf of my mum - you'll have to bear with me as neither of us are particulaly computer savvy!!
My mum originally purchased Norton 360 v1 as part of her package when she bought her HP laptop which operates on Windows Vista. This worked fine and when v2 came out I upgraded it to this for her - initially there was a couple of hiccups but i managed to find a solution in the forum (which involved disabling the firewall i think!!). Her subscription recently came up for renewal and so she purchased Norton 360 V2 upgrade for 2 years from digital river.
This involved uninstalling the version we had and downloading a new electronic file. Ever since doing this I have had nothing but problems and have no idea what to do to fix.
Basically it will install and recognises the product key etc but then won't run any live updates at all - i have tried uninstalling and re-installing several times using recommendations such as turning firewall off etc none of which seem to have worked, then this week the internet has completely stopped working (Wireless router) so we can't do anything!!
We are basically at the point of trying to get a full refund for the product as for the last 3 weeks it has not worked at all.
Does anyone have any solutions at all which may help? (please bear in mind i can find my way around a PC but am not technically savvy really!!) Any help at all would be appreciated as i have no idea!!
