Norton 360 v21 does not work in Windows 8.1

Hello:

Norton 360 v21, in the cloud there is no way to work, I have Windows 8.1, I've tried everything, installing, reinstalling, and mail account and can not access the passwords I had in another computer with Windows XP.

I think Norton 360 is incompatible with some protections in Windows 8.1

I pray immediate solution

Hello Buoybells:
I bought Windows 8 and I have upgraded to Windows 8.1, I have three PCs Norton 360 v21 and installed it on another computer I have Windows XP system.
Windows 8. and 8.1, comes Defender antivirus installed.
Except protection in the cloud, all other functions of Norton 360 work well. The problem is Identity Safe, which leaves me access.
antplus

What do you mean by  "Protection in the Cloud"?

Dave

Hi DaveH

I mean that does not let me access the vault and therefore I can not save passwords. I have an account for access, but it tells me is not possible.
I also refuse to activate "Remote Administration" to get into Norton Studio.
antplus

OK, thanks for explaining that.

I know a lot of people been having problems with the online vault, I hope someone can help you with that.

Personally, I love the local vault and hate the online vault.  For that reason I have not installed Norton on my 8.1 system yet and I'm not sure if I will.

Sorry I couldn't help you.

Dave

Hello
Is there any "guru" who can solve this problem that Norton 360 v21 not let me access the vault and therefore can not save passwords. I have an access account, but denied.
Also I can not access and enable "remote management" to enter Norton Studio
I bought Windows 8 and I have upgraded to 8.1.

Have you tried since these notices were posted here about system maintenance?

Is it possible something went haywire when you upgraded to Windows 8.1?  I know there are numerous steps involved both with Microsoft and with the maker of the computer to get everything up and running properly when upgrading.  I've had glitches with Windows 8 and will bide my time and see how successful Windows 8.1 is before I consider upgrading.

Hope you get your problem fixed.

Hi antplus,

A few questions to more clearly see where you are at:

You mentioned passwords stored on an XP System - was it a Local Vault or an Online Vault that you were using?

Did you ever Export the ID safe Data (Passwords) as a means of backing them up in case somehopw you lost them?

Is the XP system still running, so we can perhpas try to Export the passwords and then Import them into your new system?

Please tell us how you "uninstalled/reinstalled N 360 - did you use the Control Panel only, or the Control Panel plus the Norton Removeable Tool and did you select to save your settings or not?

The more info you can provide the better we will be able to assist you.

Have you considered contacting Chat and let them remoting into your system?

Hello Tirón:

Windows XP is an online vault.

I have not exported, I've tried several times but not how.

The Windows XP system is still running on another computer.

I have installed and uninstalled Norton 360 v21, saving the configuration, the

Norton removable tool several times.

And as it does to go to or chat.

Expected response
Antplus.

Thanks for the feedback.

Do you have N 360 installed on the XP System?  If so, can you open your Online Vault and select the Export/Import Tab under Settings and try to Export your ID safe Data?  You should be able to Export in either format. If you have eny error let us know what it is.

Please let us know how you get on.

Hello Tirón:
I exported to an external USB entire deposit information online.
Now beg me to tell exactly which directory I put Norton 360.
Awaiting response
antplus

On your Win 8 system, do you have N 360 installed?

Have you set up your ID Safe Vault?    Select Settings from the main page of N 360 > Identity Protection > Identity Safe > Configure[+]

If so, all you need to do is log into your vault on the Win 8 system and Import the data that you saved on the USB.

Please let us know if you can do this or where you have trouble.

Hello Tirón
The problem is I can not open the online deposit to USB data transfer.

In the upper right corner of your N 360 main page, does it show Signed in as: your e-mail address?

Which browser are you using and do you have the Norton Toolbar displayed along with the Vault is Closed Button?

If so, pl;ese tell us what happens when you click on the Vault is Closed Button?

At the top right of the main page N 360 corner, the mail session initiation is shown.

I use Google Chrome and Norton 360 bar is shown in a closed container.

When I sign the online repository and turns around and does nothing.

OK, it sounds like something to me that may be easier to correct via a Chat session with a tech who can remotely look at your system and do what needs to be done.  I am not sure where you ae located, but you can select your country on the following URL and request help.

Please come back and let us know how things go for you - sorry I couldn't be more help.

Hello
Definitely Norton 360v21 and online repository of Identity Safe does not work in Windows 8.1, a shabby first global brand antivirus has not resolved this.

Goodbye and farewell Mr
