I have a three license installation of Norton 360 installed on three computers at my house. One is running Windows 7 and the other two are running XP SP3. Automatic updates are turned on on all three computers. I am running version 4.2.0.12 of Norton 360.
On all three computers, when I run LiveUpdate, I get the initial message "Not all updates were successful". When I click on the view summary link, the message tells me that the Norton 2010 Virus Definitions failed to complete. If other updates are available, they are successful. I then click on the Tech Support link and walk through the manual download process, which works fine.
But, three days later, I get the little red X telling me that my definitions are out of date. I then run LiveUpdate and get the same error message. I can always update manually. But, it it getting annoying always having to do this.
Does anyone have an idea of how to make the LiveUpdates update the virus definitions automatically?
I am using a Linksys WRT110 router, as you suspected. The firmware version I am using is 1.0.07. I see version 1.0 available on their site. Should I try to go back to it?
You can downgrade to firmware version 1.0.05 which is available in the Web page I posted above. Try that, run LiveUpdate and let us know the results.

That did the trick! Thanks for the help.
