Norton 360 V4.2.0.12 configure firewall to enable shared document

Hi Expert

 

I have got client that has windows 7 64-bit hosting shared hdds and this desktop has norton 360 v4.2.0.12 installed.

 

he has three other laptops to access those shraed hdds on windows 7.

 

But the problem with Norton firewall because it prevents those laptops from access them

 

If I didabled the norton firewall,  from any laptop I can ping the desktop and I can access the shared hdds

 

How should I configure the firewall to allow those laptops to access shared hdds ?

First, check in Network Security Map in your Norton 360, and make sure that the networked computers are set to Full Trust. Setting the trust control should allow communications between the computers connected via the network. If the problem still persists, you can try creating a firewall rule. Refer to the instructions from the following Symantec KB, you need to individual rules for each computer in the network using their corresponding IP Address:
