Norton 360 v5.1.0.29 does not autocomplete under Firefox 9.0.1

Hey guys,

I recently got the final updates which put Firefox 8.0.1, 9.0.1 & Norton 360 v5 in sync. I next tried to singon with my norton toolbar and it did not auto complete my userid or password for my specific email web page?? Can someone provide some help to resolve this issue? :smileysad:

Hi, TomJ,

 

The Firefox 8 update automatically disabled all browser extensions by default--presumably to combat the rash of nuisance toolbars we've seen lately. It sounds like you need to go into your Firefox settings and make sure that the Norton extensions are checked/enabled. Save your changes, then close all your browser windows, reboot if you feel like being particularly thorough, and you should be back in business.

Hey guys, thanks for the quick response! I have looked at the extensions and they are as follows:

 

     1)  Norton Toolbar 2011.7.4.3     =     ENABLED

 

     2)  Symantec IPS 3.2                   =      ENABLED

 

I am afraid that something else is amist in the scheme of things

 

Thanks for the help, but what else might we look at to resolve this issue?
