I keep having to disable the smart firewall to allow my browser and Outlook to connect to the internet. The icon for my Wifi connection shows that I am not connected to the internet and I cannot access my router either, even though I am 'connected'.
It takes a few seconds after disabling the firewall before I regain access.
The funny thing is that it doesn't do it all the time. I can use the machine for 30mins or more sometimes before the connection to the internet is broken.
What should I be looking for?

Steve,
Have you looked at your network security map and the status of your devices? It sounds like a lack of trust to me
Hope this helps. Be sure to let us know
Hi sjmmarsh,
Do you have any other security programs installed? Conflicts with Windows Defender have been known to cause this type of problem.
