Norton 360 v6 causing major network issues

Hello, i recently purchase nortion  360 v6 from a local retail store, a few weeks back, to be honest i havent got round to querying this problem

 

i was a v5 user, and being honest im not impressed with this new network map idea, becasue its casued nothing but problems,, why implement such a feature? v5 never had this and was flawless

 

basically, i can see other computers on my computer and connect to (with v6 installed on), but i can not connect to the computer with v6 installed from another machine on my network, basically i cant access that anymore,

 

i used to have 360 v5 installed on all machines and netwotrking was never a problem

 

i have enabled full read mode or something and set all machine to full access, in this map part, yet im not able to see the machine with v6 installed on. t

other machines on my network cant see the computer with 360 v6 installed on

 

i dont use homegroups, im in a standard workgroup network, all machine connected use win7

 

any help greatly appreciated, fell like i wasted my money to be honest becasue at the moment, ive had to uninstall it

 

also i heard there was dedicated support when i bought the software, how do i get that?, if it can be done over the forum any help would be great as im on nights at the moment

im sorry about the delay getting back i have been unwell

 

im back on v5 at the minute and im reluctant to put v6 back on i got it as a special offer from a local retailer

 

i tried updatting the software when i had v6 on and i installed the latest version but it then reactivated it self as a demo?

 

so maybe the version i have is only applicable to version number i have, can i provide you with a sewrial number via private message maybe?

yes i can confirm i selected the router to full trust, regarding the changes in v5 to v6 2 of my machines had v5 on and i never had to do all this trust setting issues, that is what i meant in difference between the two

 

since this trust settings has been implemented in 6 its casued me major problems, iuf it was there in v5 i certainly didnt need to mess with it just to view my home network, which to be honest is ridiculous!

 

my network is connected through my virgin media router all machines were selected to full trust in the map i think and im adament the router was selected to full trust as well, so i dont no why the machine were not visable

 

the machine with v6 on could see other machines on the network, but machines trying to connect to the the machine with v6 installed can not, its not visable on the network anymore

 

the only thing i havent done is the firewall settings as this wasnt needed in v5 and i didnt think i need to in v6,

 

i dont see why id need to change firewall settings unless v6 is blocking this automataclly?? is this the standard case?

 

as with porevious versions ive never had to change any settings its just worked from install, but if i need to then must be. any help would be appreciated

 

i may infact wait till v7 comes out or buy direct from norton at least then i no i will get full updates, which to be honest i was promised from this retailer?
