Hello everyone,

I new at using Norton 360 version 1 and a pervious encounter with Norton that made me avoid them for some time. But upon hearing that Norton 360 version was a great application at work, I decided to try it. I did notice a little slow down but I'm very impressed. Anyway, I have been looking at the ratings for version 1 and I have found that it doesn't support firefox. Does this mean that I have to buy version 2?

So when I put my valid key in, I will get the “full version” of version 2.0 correct?

Yes, it will activate when you enter your current Product Key. Follow the steps outlined. Don't worry, you still have your current Product Key and the remaining subscription will be valid.

Thank-you for the help, once I get used to version 1, I’ll get the upgrade so firefox can be supported.

OK, upon reading back over this thread, I’m not sure if you were trialing V1 or you had bought a subscription for it. In any case, no, Norton 360 V1 does not support Firefox, whereas V2 does.

You were correct in your original assumption, I have a license for the full version 1 but I found later that version 1 doesn’t support firefox.

If you uninstall your Version 1 using the Norton Removal Tool , then download Norton 360 V2 Trial Version , and add your current Product Key when prompted, you should now have N360 V2 installed with the remainder of your subscription period.

Let us know how you get on.
