After the latest update I can no longer access my Sony cameras (2) with the Imaging Edge Mobile App. However when I deleted the Norton App both cameras connected fine. I have reinstalled Norton but did not turn on the Internet Security (Safe Web) component and the cameras are connecting. However this is not ideal because a major component for Norton has been turned off. Please provide a solution ASAP.
Thanks. I'll escalate this to my Norton contacts.
I can't give a timeline on when this might get resolved for you. I'll let you know what I hear.
Thanks. I have sent in the logs. This is the reference. [Error Report] NMS/20230602.2 iOS/16.5 XTWHTQ7986TY.
From the 360 app main screen, tap on Security > Internet Security. You turn on/off Safe Web from there.
How do I disable Safe Web without having to delete and reinstall the Norton App?
The Safe Web feature has been known to cause issues with other apps that use Wifi to connect to devices or the web. If you send logs to Norton, it will help them to fix the issue with your app.
Start by opening iOS settings on your device and scroll down to the bottom where the apps are listed. Tap on the Norton 360 app and tap to Enable Debug Log.
Now use your device until it causes the issue you are having. In your case, try accessing your camera(s) with Safe Web enabled. When they are blocked, then disable Safe Web and test again. If they now connect, open the 360 app and tap on the three bars at the top left, then tap Help. Tap on Send Error Report and fill in any information requested. In your submission, please include "forum 'your username' " in the Case ID section of the report. Also include a link to this thread.
If you do send logs, please let me know and I'll notify my contacts to look for them.
