Norton 360 vpn p2p

also the upload and download speed is bad now when useing the vpn

You never did tell us what part of the world you are in. Your connections and speed can be affected by local government restrictions.

What country does your VPN connect to if you use the Fastest Location setting?

Im from the U.K my vpn was working perfectly ok till i got the new app update today now the united states says N/A on Virtual ip

sometimes it works in united states then some times it just says N/A

all other countries are working ok just having problems with the united states

Have you run LiveUpdate again and restarted your computer? The update announcement mentions the possible need to run LiveUpdate a couple of times.

And what country does the VPN connect to when using the Fastest Location setting?

Its working ok now my vpn but now when you go to change the country you cannot see the full list at the bottom as its got a advert to sign up for norton ultilities

I can still get the united states on that is on my vpn but i have to open the vpn settings - just as you can see on the photo you cannot scroll down the list like you could before it got updated

If you close the VPN location window, does the Utilities popup disappear? And if so, does it show up again when you try to change the location?

yes it stays on the screen so you cannot scroll down

and now the united states is saying N/A on virtual ip again

now united states is working again just cannot scroll down have to go into vpn and do it that way other wise its like the picture i posted

Does it go away if you move to a different area of the 360 interface? ie Security. I don’t think it has anything specifically to do with the VPN settings. Just the regular Norton marketing department messaging.

yes it works when i move to a different area just on the main screen it doesnt go off that pop up

Yet another problem with the interface, because it shouldn’t be showing the advertisement while the person is choosing the country to connect to.

As I posted above, I don’t think the message was targeted to the VPN location page. It would probably have popped up on any section of the 360 interface the user is viewing.

it didnt use to do it before i updated to the new version tho

That popup looked a little different style from the ones before. Part of the new update???
