Norton 360 wiped my entire thunderbird inbox and sent

I have the same problem as in following threads:

Every single attempt to recover quaranrined file "inbox" ends with error-1000, on the other hand "sent"  was recovered but is not visible for Thunderbird.

My last backup is over 3 weeks old and i would prefer to restore all mail IF there is any way.

 

Does anyone have solution to error-1000 during recovery of  thunderbird "inbox" ?

P.S. My PC runs: Win 7 Pro SP1 German, Thunderbird 7.0.1 German, Norton 360 5.1.0.29

Did you follow the links in those threads?  There is one link to Mozilla instructions for recovery.

I did, otherwise i would not write need thread.

After applying all steps from KB/mozillazine i am still getting error-1000.
