I have Norton 360 installed on my computer. I purchased a new version from Amazon because it was less expensive then the renewal direct from Norton. My account shows the new copy, but won't activate it. I've downloaded and installed it, but it will not activate. My current subscription has expired and I need this activated. Do I have to uninstall the current version and then install the new one to activate it?
I bought the Norton 360 3.0 dvd 3 years ago, which contains "1 year protection for up to 3 PCs per household". So 3 years ago, I installed it on 2 PCs, and hadn't touched the dvd since.
Recently, I purchased a new PC, and thought that I should install Norton 360. However, after inputting the Product Key, it shows a loading bar for a while, before returning to the input screen. No error messages appear; the software is still not activated.
Would appreciate any insight into this matter. Thanks.
Edit: I see you are not logged in anymore... Shouldn't you be able to get it activated, you could perhaps contact Live chat, explain the situation to them and they should be able to help you.
