Contacted Norton support a month or so ago, when I couldn't get VPN to connect. Took a lot of effort to finally have them escalate the issue, but today I got an update to 8.8.5 and my VPN works perfectly again! Thanks, Norton!
Dave. Give the following a look. I'm not a MAC user so this is the suggestion I am finding for you.
To check which version of SAV/NAV/Endpoint is installed on your Mac:
- In your
Applications
folder, locate the Symantec or Norton AntiVirus application you have installed on your Mac. - Right-click, or hold down the
Control
key and click on the program icon. Then, select Get Info from the context menu. - In the "General" section of the
Info
window, you'll find the version number of the application.

That might be great . . . How do I find my current version number in Norton 360? When I go to Help where I should find an "About" option, there's just more sales pitches. When I go to the Settings> Software Updater, I just get the scan for OTHER software. How do I get a scan for the Norton 360 software updates?
Thanks for the feedback. Others will benefit from knowing a possible fix is available.
