I bought Norton Internet Security a couple of weeks ago. The option Norton Account produces a form saying “Connecting to Norton Account”, with a moving progress bar. But no matter how long I leave it nothing else ever happens. I checked today with Live Update that I have the latest version. OK. Do I need to turn Norton Account on or something, or is it permanently busy?

Are you able to connect to the Symantec website? What browser are you using?
Thanks. If I enter that URL manually in the browser, the webpage opens up. So the problem is that the browser (FireFox, latest version) is not responding to Norton’s request.
I’m using FireFox (latest version) and if I enter the URL manually into it the webpage does appear OK. So my problem is something else Thank you.
