Norton Adblocker

Why does Norton 360 stop my use of extentions? It tells me Norton Adblocker stopped the opening.

Norton Ad Blocker enhances your browsing experience by blocking unwanted ads in your Safari browser.
Norton Ad Blocker is available only for iOS.

I have a Windows 10 Pc. I have Internet, phone & email bundled service as we’re very rural. Main reason I have Norton 360. I get at least every week a list of spam that I can choose to release if I want. One was from Norton this week, and when I tried to release it, my error message was: filter1.ispservices.us refused to connect. It stated I should go to Norton Security, I’ve tried and not gotten anywhere. Can’t I some how allow this one email through? There are times I need to release these and now I can’t. Thank you so much for replying.

Who is your ISP?
Your email account is thru your ISP email service?
The list of spam that you can choose to release is thru your ISP email service?
What does your Internet Service Provider say…?
How is this related to Norton Ad Blocker?

My ISP said they blocked nothing, it’s worked since the 90;s. The above error message is what comes up when I try to release the message from spam. The only adblocker I would have is Norton and going to the website and looking for help there to no avail. I do appreciate you for trying to help me though - thank you.

Okay…Sorry, I’m not familiar with Safari nor Norton Ad Blocker.
I thought Safari is the default browser for iOS and Mac.
I thought Norton Ad Blocker is only for iOS.

As bjm_ has noted and provided a link to the Norton Ad Blocker app information, it is only for iPhones and iPads. So you would not be able to install it on a Windows 10 system.

What you might have is another ad blocker extension for your browser that might be interfering with your other extensions. What browser are you using and what extensions do your have installed?

Hi - I used to have “AdBlocker” on all my devices until I went back toNorton. When I got my Norton, I deleted everything, extensions and all from everything. I looked to make sure that I had gotten it all, and I have. Thank you so much for trying to help.
