Norton advertising on fox news tucker carlson

Norton was mentioned in the new york times today as one of the companies still advertising on the fox news network tucker carlson show.  his views are morally repugnant.  please join me in asking norton to clean up it's act

Looks like the "woketards" have descended here as well - - however, they can take their carnival act BACK to reddit from whence they came (Big laughs) ;-)

Is it Lifelock? If true, it fits nicely into the fear, uncertainty, and doubt spewed by the talking heads on F_x News.

When I think of Carlson, which is almost never, my thoughts turn to a irrelevant, constipated tardigrade. I know this dances on the edge of post acceptability and I take full responsibility for my actions - It will not happen again.

I hope the community will forgive me of my trespasses.

You guys have got to be kidding. Seriously, I would not want to associate with people who have a herd mentality and are clearly incapable of true thought and opinion. Hateful is your knee-jerk reactions (and I know they are coming) and no knowledge of life other than the little bubbles you live in. Grow-up and give me a break. If Norton in fact follows the herd and pulls their ads, they are no longer a business but a political puppet whom I could no longer take seriously.

Food for thought: "You can vote your way into Socialism but you will have to shoot your way out of it".

My God, what a waste of time.

This is how you are becoming fascist and don't even know it.

I am with you there.  Good note, Thanks.  These people are unbelievable.  I was cancelling my subscriptions with Norton, but theses people just gave me a good reason to keep Norton.

Your post gets two thumbs up from me.

Hmm, maybe you should send your message to that guy living at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in D.C., who told me to boycott AT&T because their subsidiary CNN "is so unfair with such bad, Fake News!" That was a year ago.  For good measure, he also recently taught us that if we don't like what we hear, we can just sue -- the way he is suing CNN and its well-respected polling partner SSRS because he didn't like their latest poll results (never mind that they turned out to be less unfavorable to him than the other major polls that have been released since then).

So much for free speech and avoiding fascism...

It is not only on Tucker Carlson than Norton is advertising. I heard an ad on Hannity Radio ..done by Sean himself. I want to pull my support for Norton. I usually do not  listen to poison Sean however I wanted to hear his spin on the disaster in Tulsa.

I disagree

There are plenty of programs that work hard to present a balanced and reasoned approach to news and news analysis.  I respectfully request Norton not advertise on any news or analysis shows that promote a spirit of anger and divisiveness in America. Yes, I do see Tucker Carlson as being on one of those extreme voices, and so I am agreeing with the others on the thread that are asking Norton to pull their advertising from his show in particular. (There are others on the other end of the political spectrum, but I do not track where all Norton advertises, so I withhold comment about them at this time.)

Count me out too.  I've been a lifelong subscriber to Norton software and have been very happy with the antivirus protection.  Nevertheless, if Norton as a company advocates the racist hate speech spewed on Tucker Carlson's show then I have to go another direction.  Advertising on that show implies that Norton accepts what he says.  This is not good.

But for the "If" that would be a non sequitor -- advertising should go where large numbers congregate. What that implies is in the eyes of the beholders and not necessarily in the mind of the advertiser.

This discussion belongs in Forum Clubhouse  if anywhere here since Tech Outpost, as its name implies, is for technical discussions not involving Norton products.

Norton needs to take action immediately and let its customers know that it does not support the filth spewed by this racist.  I will certainly be giving a head's up to my IT friends.

I have escalated this thread to try to get it to the correct department.

How do we make this go virile?

I have 26 days to decide what to do about the Tucker Carlson issue.  If Norton continues to support him I can't in good conscience continue to use this anti-virus software as much as I like it and have used it for years.

I will not be renewing my subscription with Norton if the company continues to advertise on the Tucker Carlson Show. I cannot be a subscriber with a company which would support his twisted, hateful views.
