As I'm sure most everyone with Norton knows, the program occasionally pops up small alerts on the bottom right corner of the screen to give things like performance alerts, telling you what program is taking up a lot of memory, or other things like that your PC is tuned up. A lot of programs, in fact, will pop up little alerts on that corner of the screen much the same way.
For some reason, however, where other programs' corner screen alerts do nothing to affect your computer activity other than a little corner display, Norton's corner alerts seem to commandeer status as the active program whenever Norton sends them out. This causes them to interrupt my progress whenever I am performing such activities as typing or scrolling.
Is there anything different in particular between Norton's alerts and the ones displayed by other programs that makes them do this? And is there any way to fix the problem?
