We have comcast and therefore we have the free Norton Suite they offer installed. While gaming, if Norton should do a sweep / update it first causes my game to get jerky, then have moments of freezing and then at last I get the dreaded blue screen for core dump. If I see the first signs that Norton has done something/anything I try to exit my game. But it does something to my cpu usage and keeps it there for some time, so no going right back to gaming unless I reboot or wait a good long while, maybe. Needed to pull a photo off a flash drive for someone, while I was playing, not even thinking about it, well guess Norton automatically scans the new drive, and CRASH. WHY? How do i disable Norton while I am playing?
